A burst pipe at 8 pm.
The client still reaches you.
Clients call their broker first when something goes wrong, and often outside office hours. rednea answers every call, takes the claim details in order, gives the insurer’s assistance number you set for urgent cases, and passes quote and policy questions to the right broker.
What is rednea for insurance brokers?
rednea is an AI phone assistant for insurance brokers. It answers every call 24/7, takes structured claim notifications, routes urgent claims per your protocol, books meetings and passes quote and policy questions to your brokers. It never says what is covered.
Why broker calls go unanswered
Why clients cannot reach their broker when it matters
Claims do not happen in office hours
A leak, a break-in or a car accident happens in the evening or at the weekend. The client calls the broker, hears a voicemail, and feels alone at exactly the moment the broker should help.
Claims outside office hours
Brokers are in meetings and on the road
A broker visiting clients or comparing offers cannot answer every call. Renewal questions, certificate requests and new quotes pile up.
Advisers away from the phone
Claim details arrive incomplete
A stressed client leaves half the information on voicemail. The broker calls back to ask for the policy number, the date and what happened, and the claim starts a day late.
Incomplete claims, extra calls
What changes
How rednea works in your brokerage
Every call answered, at any hour
rednea answers in parallel, day and night, so a client with a claim never hears a voicemail.
Structured claim notifications
Name, policy or vehicle, date, place, what happened, damage, other parties: rednea asks in order and sends your team one clear summary.
Urgent claims routed per your protocol
If anyone is hurt, rednea tells the caller to ring 999 or 112. For home and roadside emergencies it gives the insurer’s 24-hour assistance number you set. If your protocol says so, it transfers the call to the broker on duty when someone is free; otherwise the team gets the call summary by email right after the call.
Quotes and reviews to the right broker
A request for a new policy or a renewal review becomes a meeting in the broker’s calendar or a structured message, with the client’s needs noted.

How we set rednea up for your brokerage
Lines of business, team & greeting
We record the lines you handle (motor, home, business, life, health), who handles what, your hours and your greeting.
Claim questions & assistance numbers
We set the questions for each type of claim and the insurers’ 24-hour assistance numbers rednea gives for urgent cases.
Calendar & routing
Connection to Google Calendar or Microsoft 365, and to broker software via iCal or API on request. Then your rules: who is on duty and when to transfer.
Test call & go-live
You call your own number and try the scenarios that matter: home claim at night, car accident, quote request, certificate request. Then you set call divert on your existing line. No number change.
Typical call scenarios
How rednea handles calls for an insurance broker
A burst pipe in the evening
The assistance number you set, in the same call, and a structured claim for the broker in the morning.
Is this covered?
No statement about cover: the details are taken and the broker answers.
A new quote request
A new client booked with the right broker, with the needs noted, instead of a voicemail.
A car accident
Safety first, then the practical steps you approved, and a complete claim for the broker.
GDPR and transparent AI
Built for the trust clients place in their broker
Data processing agreement under GDPR
Client data is processed under a data processing agreement (Article 28 GDPR), with encryption in transit and at rest and retention you set. Health details in a claim can be special-category data and are treated that way.
Storage in Switzerland
Persistent data is stored in Switzerland, a country with an EU adequacy decision. Transcripts are deleted on the schedule you set.
Recording is your switch
Call recording is on by default and can be switched off in the dashboard, taking effect on the next call. Transcripts and summaries are separate and keep working.
No advice, transparent AI
rednea never says what is covered, recommends no policy and quotes no premium. Your greeting can say from the first second that a digital assistant is answering. You write the greeting, and we suggest a wording that does this — the transparency Article 50 of the EU AI Act asks for.

Frequently asked
What brokers ask before using rednea
Does rednea tell clients what their policy covers?
No. Cover, exclusions and premiums are the broker’s answer. rednea takes the question with the details and passes it to the broker, or books a call.
How does rednea handle claims at night?
It takes the claim details in order and, for urgent cases, gives the insurer’s 24-hour assistance number you set. If anyone is hurt, it tells the caller to ring 999 or 112. The broker gets a structured summary by email right after the call and, if your rules say so, the call is transferred to the broker on duty when someone is free.
Can it give quotes?
No. A quote depends on the client’s situation and the market. rednea takes the request and books a meeting or a call with the right broker.
Can it send policy documents or certificates?
rednea takes the request with the client’s name and policy, and your team sends the document. By default, rednea does not read your broker software.
What does the broker receive after a claim call?
A structured summary by email right after the call: the client’s name and number, the policy or vehicle, date and place, what happened, the damage and any other parties. With recording on, the audio is in the dashboard too. The broker starts the claim without calling the client back for missing details.
Can rednea take calls in other languages?
Yes. rednea detects the caller’s language and answers in English, Spanish, Catalan, French, German or Italian. A client who has an accident abroad, or a client who is more at ease in another language, gives the details in their own language and the broker gets the same structured summary.
Does rednea work with our software?
rednea books through Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 and broker software via iCal or API on request. We confirm the integration path in the kick-off call.
What if a client wants to speak to their broker?
Your greeting can say so from the first second: you write it, and we suggest a wording that says a digital assistant is answering. A client who wants their broker is transferred if the broker is free, or gets a call-back with the details already noted.
How much does it cost, and how long does setup take?
From £90 per month with 300 minutes of call time, no setup fee and no minimum term. Setup takes about 30 minutes: we configure lines of business, claim questions and routing, connect the calendar, and you go live with call divert on your existing number.
